Our 10 Week Athlete Development Program provides aspiring athletes with the opportunity to reach their full potential through elite lead and research based basketball programs built on these five foundations:

Our Athlete Development Program has limited spots, and acceptance is contingent upon a successful screening process.

COURT SKILLS

Provide researched based drills focussing on excellent foundational skill development of ball handling, passing, shooting, & rebounding.

Through our Court Skills Development training we:

  • Develop the athlete’s essential basketball skills.

  • Develop a player’s offensive and defensive court sense.

  • Nurture individual players to maximise their skills in relation to their preferred playing position.

  • Instil a positive team culture and attitude within our athletes.

POWER

Provide a structured strength and conditioning program to maximise each players athletic performance and create a lifelong foundation of appropriate training techniques.

Through our Power Development training we:

  • We provide an initial assessment of our athlete’s baseline strength, fitness, and functional capacity metrics, to be evaluated throughout the program to maximise needs versus outcome improvements.

  • Provide scientifically designed strength and conditioning programs that develop key components of basketball performance, including strength, fitness, speed, agility and plyometrics.

  • Programs designed and tailored to the individual players needs with respect to age, gender and capacity.

  • We structure our strength and conditioning program around accountability, where each athlete is taught how to monitor their progress to reach their desired goals.

Achieving maximum results for every aspect of athletic performance is driven by the fuel we provide our bodies.

Through our Fuel Skills Development training we:

FUEL

  • Educate athletes and their caregivers on the foundations of effective sports nutrition including the use of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats to promote strength, fitness, performance and recovery.

  • We educate in the importance of hydration during training, game days, and recovery.

  • Instil a foundation of positive body image and nutritional integrity by encouraging accountability around maximising healthy choices.

We recognise that each athlete comes to us with a unique mindset that is shaped by family and social influences, environmental and financial factors, mental and physical health, and their ability to navigate the world around them.

Through our Resilience Development training we:

RESILIENCE

  • Provide education around goal setting including the steps and skills to monitor, progress and reach both individual and team goals.

  • We provide education and support for dealing with sports related performance anxiety, managing outside expectations and minimising burnout.

  • We maximise athletic performance outcomes through teaching resilience around feedback, failure and expectation. This is achieved through targeted visualisation, regular feedback from coaches, and a supportive environment.

  • We recognise that resilient athletes keep moving forward for the good of themselves, the team and their broader community.

Minimising fatigue, injury, illness and burnout is the cornerstone to maximising athletic performance outcomes and is integral for the longevity of an athlete’s career.

Through our Recovery Skills Development we:

RECOVERY

  • Teach athletes the foundational skills involved with active recovery to maintain, develop and restore the body after training in the gym, on the court, or after a game.

  • We provide education and support around injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation.

  • We will educate our athletes on the vital components of rest, time off and activity diversity to maximise performance.
